Visit to Fenway Park in Boston and Chase Field in Phoenix

Thought I'd update my MLB ballpark 'quest'. As noted earlier in this blog, I'm trying to see at least one new ballpark a year. In August I went to Boston for the first time and saw Fenway Park, home the Boston Red Sox. What a great ballpark!! Lots of history here and I actually got chills walking inside it for the first time. I took a morning tour of Fenway and then saw 3 games over the next 3 days. The Red Sox won all 3, the first one with an exciting come from behind victory in the bottom of the ninth! Boston has to be one of the best cities I've ever been to. I look forward to returning in the future and spending more time there.

Back in April while visiting my Dad in Arizona (for his 75th birthday), we went to a Diamondback game at Chase Field with my brother who flew in from California. Hadn't been to a game there since it was BankOne Ballpark but it is still one the the friendliest ballparks i've been too.
